The fall in the US new case rate is quickly slowing. Maybe it's because of the return to school or rioting but sometimes I wonder if there is intentional spreading going on.

I had that thought If you remember I said that when Trump out of nowhere stated he was taking zinc and HCQ - or - " I know you're trying to infect me but I am on a prophylactic that you know works even if you don't admit it". Shortly after that a COVID_19 rapid test regime was put in place for the White House and all staff and visitors At the same time the number of tests has gone up to an incredible number so more cases will be found

I've been reading Briggs for years. He's great on climate as well. I learned a great deal about statistics from his book.

For the conspiracy crowd, it may look like a flyover dispersal map.

Or we could have no idea what the actual case rate in the US has EVER been since there's never been random testing (or enough testing in a close window to allow extrapolation), and some of the testing that is being carried out is of dubious accuracy. I'll say it again and again: there is a difference between people who have the virus, people who are symptomatic, and people who test positive. Draw a Venn diagram.

Does anyone here have a critique of the RECOVERY trial?
